Emma-Louise Wilson is best known for her series regular role as the dim-witted, but loveable Katie in AACTA and Logie Award winning comedy Utopia for Working Dog Productions and ABC. Working Dog invited her on to this project after her appearance in their 2012 feature film, Any Questions For Ben? Emma-Louise has a natural aptitude for comedy and was part of the vibrant ensemble of Kinne, a sketch comedy for 7mate.
Emma-Louise also stars as the titular character in Strongman Pictures third feature, She-Borg Massacre directed by Dan Armstrong, which is currently available on DVD in Australia and internationally, including USA. Emma-Louise has also worked with Strongman Pictures several of their other films too.
Emma-Louise is also a graded Stunt Action Person and has performed stunts in Foxtel's Wentworth, Force of Nature: The Dry2, The Clearing for Disney+ and the Romper Stomper series on Stan.
She has achieved Honours in a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University and also studied acting part-time at the Victorian College of the Arts and at the Actors Centre in London. She has more recently trained with PEM Studios, Peter Rasmussen & Darren Gilshenan.
She is also a knitting and crochet enthusiast; check out Made By Freya’s Mum on Youtube, and loves a good horror movie or two.
